Happy Birthday Pastille!

I mean who doesn’t love a birthday party? Pastille Beauty in Leeds invited me to come down and celebrate their third birthday with them and I was so excited to see what they’ve been up to.

Pastille has been around for three years and they’re based down on Granary Wharf (near to Fazenda/the south entrance of Leeds station) so it’s pretty ideal for anyone who works in the city centre to pop in. I’m all about the convenience when it comes to beauty treatments so their location is ideal for me as I’m always in town – plus their prices are pretty low given the salon is central.

Whilst we were there to celebrate their birthday, we had the chance to get an express mani and I absolutely loved the OPI polish they used on mine as it was so pigmented that it only needed one coat. And who doesn’t love sipping some fizz as you get your nails done? I’m really pleased with how pretty my nails look and I’ve seen plenty of people already raving about treatments they’ve had at Pastille Beauty – it’s clearly the place to be in Leeds for a manicure!

There were a couple of other brands who also came to join Pastille in their celebrations. Borrowed Couture were there, a new dress hire service based in Leeds. You can basically rent a dress for three days at a fraction of the retail price (we’re talking serious designer dresses), and this for me is the dream. Whilst I have a lot of dresses which I’ll wear a few times, when it comes to special occasions, as I don’t go to absolutely loads of glam events (sob), I’ll often end up with dresses being worn once and then hanging sadly in my wardrobe for ages. I mean, we all do it, don’t we? But Borrowed Couture allows you to rent something stunning and then you just give it back afterwards for them to dry clean.

Another brand there was Sweet Designs, who create rings using nail polishes, meaning you can have a unique ring to match the polish on your nails. I am 100% about this. My sister ended up buying a ring which was really pretty and complimented her freshly painted nails! If you saw my Instagram, you’ll have probably seen some pretty tasty cake on there and they were by Sugar Crush Bakes who I strongly suggest you follow for some serious food porn!

We had such a lovely afternoon celebrating with Pastille Beauty so thank you for having us and I’m sure I’ll be back soon!
