Bonmarche AW15 Preview

Bonmarche AW15

This week has been such a busy one, I don’t even know where to begin!

On Thursday night I was delighted to be invited to have a sneak peek at Bonmarche’s AW15 collection, along with a whole host of other bloggers. We went to Lambert’s Yard which is a fantastic space in Leeds and the room was set up with a pink catwalk (red is SO over, don’t you know).

Bonmarche isn’t somewhere I usually shop but I was pleasantly surprised by the collections as the pieces from this collection are pretty timeless and most importantly, they’re flattering. There are plenty of pieces that I plan to purchase the moment the collection goes on sale as there is so much I want that I can mix and match with my existing wardrobe, especially for work.

The collections we saw were Boho Pastels, Tribal Graphics, Oriental Glamour and also, a plus size collection from Ann Harvey. Though I pretty much loved everything, I’ve put together some photos of my absolute faves. What I really love about this event is that the model were all bloggers – and seeing clothing look fabulous on ‘real’ women is a million times better!

The highlight piece for me was the long black coat, worn by Kristina, and I’m expecting there will be several of us bloggers rocking it in the winter month as everyone commented on how much they love it! I also love the blouse worn by Kellie - it's just right for me, I adore it.

The prices across both Bonmarche and Ann Harvey are all pretty reasonable which really makes me happy (as nobody wants to fall in love with things they can’t afford). As the collections across both brands are keen on covering the upper arms, it just makes me like them even more as it’s my most self conscious area.

Though as a 23 year old, I’m not quite the intended target market for the brands, I’m still going to be all over the new collections as I think there are a lot of seriously wearable pieces that are classics and also really good quality.

I also got a fab goody-bag and won an Ann Harvey black clutch bag from the night too. I know full well I’ll be fighting with friends and family to keep hold of them – especially the clutch which is gorgeous!

So, massive thank yous to Bonmarche, Ann Harvey, the lovelies at Home Agency who arranged the night, and of course Lamberts Yard for having us. It was a fabulous night and I’m looking forward to the collections hitting the highstreet!

  1. Haha, I literally love this shot, and the fact you've given me the title of "Queen of Sass" I can live with that.
That coat was to die for! I want it in my life too!
