Just another Haul

Another Haul I don’t seem to do many of these as I tend to shop for bits and pieces and not go for massive blow outs but since I’ve had a few bits recently, I thought I’d share!

First up were a couple of Yankee Candles from the outlet at McArthur Glen just outside York. Yes, an OUTLET FOR YANKEE CANDLES! I’ve never been a candle kind of person but I’ve seen a lot of bloggers doing ‘my favourite candles’ type posts and since these two cost me around £2.50 for both, I couldn’t go wrong. The pinkish one is ‘Beach flowers’ and the yellow one is ‘Sparkling Lemon’. Both have the fantastic scent you’d expect from a Yankee Candle so I’m pretty pleased. The outlet had up to 50% off candles of all sizes though the scents were limited, as you’d expect in discounted shop.

Secondly is the only makeup item I’ve bought recently (I’m trying to keep myself on a spending ban). I’d been so excited for the Revlon Colourburst Balms to come out but I managed to limit myself to just the one in ‘Enticing’. I love a red lip and this stain is perfect – I already have 3 of the original Revlon crayons and I can’t get enough of them. I think I may even prefer these to my MAC lipstick... controversial, I know.

This is quite a big splurge for me as I’ve never invested in sportswear before but I got myself a proper pair of running trainers. These ones, again, were from McArthur Glen and from the Nike outlet as if I’m honest, current season trainers are no different to me than last season trainers. Likewise sportswear in general! So I picked these up for £38 and they were around £60 originally and I can already feel the difference between running in these and my old Adidas trainers.

Lastly, this is a beauty product I’ve been after for a while – a Lush lip scrub. It only comes in 3 flavours and I went for Mint Julips, a mint chocolate flavour as bubblegum and popcorn just don’t do it for me. I’m sure most beauty bloggers have used it at one point or another but I honestly think, it’s something I’ll be using forever – it left my lips so soft and a swipe of Vaseline kept them feeling smooth for ages afterwards. Lush isn’t a usual port of call for me as I associate it with bath bombs and I’m a shower person but I’ll definitely be making more trips when I’m shopping as I already have my eye on the Dream Cream and Ultrabalm.

And that’s the end of my haul post. What have you been buying recently? Have you picked up any good bargains? Let me know in the comments J
